For the past few weeks, every working day at around 6:30 am officers of the east rand metro police are setting up speed cameras on the r21 north and south near pomona rd. on no single occasion any of these officers were wearing their reflective jackets or their face masks. this pose a risk for themselves as well as oncoming motorists as they are standing literally meters away from a freeway without being visible to oncoming traffic.
